Smoke Procession

Feast declared of Regional Tourist Interest, held since 1888, year in which a smallpox epidemic caused a great slaughter at Arnedillo. The epidemic ended when the locals lit bonfires with rosemary and brought in procession to San Andrés. Since then, the last Sunday of November the procession of the smoke is held, with the statue of San Andrés carried on the shoulders of people through the streets near the church, between the aromatic smoke from rosemary fires
